Happy Tuesday! After a while there is finally another post from me. I have been quite busy and I went to Budapest for couple of days. I took so many pictures so I will make a post about it later. That city really stole my heart. I love Prague but there was something special about the city. It was young, energetic with great architecture and many amazing vintage cafes. I really want to go back. Next week I am going to Austria for a press trip and I also booked a trip to Paris. Let the summer begin!
Weekends are amazing. Brunches (I love brunches!), walks in the parks and hanging out with friends. What else to want? And the great thing about Prague is that there are so many great parks. Stromovka, Riegrovy sady and my favorite Letná. It is a fantastic spot for pretty much everyone. You can walk your dog there, take kids for a walk, have a picnic, ride a bike. You name it. And the view is breathtaking. It is like the whole Prague is right in front of you. Cannot wait for the weather to get warmer to just chill out here with my friends.
United States, Scotland, Czech Republic. These are the countries I have lived in for a while. I was in Delaware when I was 21. Pretty much my first time living abroad and I was loving it. I met so many new cool people, I worked right by the beach... and I realized I loved travelling. Couple of years later I decided to go to Scotland to study and I spent there 2 years. Again, it was absolutely amazing and I didn't plan to go back to the Czech Republic. But it was almost impossible to get a year internship in the UK so I packed my suitcases and went to Prague. I wasn't sure about it but now I absolutely love it! Prague is beautiful and has so many galleries, cafés and cool spots. I still want to move to a different country but for now I am pretty happy here. What about you? What is your favorite city?
|Our Cosmo team|
Happy Monday! Have you heard about new reality show called So Cosmo? It is basically about the team working for American Cosmopolitan magazine. You can see their daily tasks, fabulous fashion show and photoshoots with celebrities. I am not gonna lie. It is fun. To promote this show, our Czech team hosted a little event together with E! television. Here are couple of photos from that night.
I'm not gonna lie. I am slightly obssesed with Instagram. I post almost every day and I love searching for inspiration there. I just cannot wait for spring cause I hate taking pics outside when it is freezing or raining. There are so many cool places in Prague so I am hoping to take my friends there and made them take pics of me. I can already see their excited faces. I also decided to travel more this year (not like I didn't travel the previous one) but I finally found friends who love travelling as much as I do. We are currently planning our trip to Budapest and I hope I will find a cheap tickets to go back to Scotland to visit my friends. I am so excited. What about you? Are you planning any cool trips?
|Avon's press conference|
Hey there! Today I prepared another glimpse to my Cosmo life and I am not gonna lie. It is pretty amazing. If five years ago someone told me I would be working for a great magazine I would probably laught at him. I was studying law, not really knowing what I want to do in life. And then one day I found out a website of Robert Gordon University in Scotland and I fell in love with the subjects there were offering. I sent an application form and I got in! I was about to start studying Fashion Management in a different country which was amazing but also scary. It meant I had to terminate my studies in Czech Republic and I already finished 4 years (and I had no dipoma). A lot of people told me not to do that but I decided not to listen. And it was the best decision I made. I have a Bachelor degree from Fashion, I worked in one of the best known magazines and I cannot wait what else is waiting for me. So sometimes it is worth taking a risk! What about you? Have you ever done something scary that turned out into something amazing?
Hey! How was your weekend? Mine was absolutely amazing. I went to a friend´s birthday party on Friday which was super fun. The best part was having a little photo booth there so I cannot wait to see the pics! When I have them I will definitely post them on my Instagram so do not forget to follow me. And yesterday I went to Žofín palace to a ball. I will tell you more about it next time but today there are couple of pics from the ball I went to two weeks ago. It took place in Pilsen and since it was organized by FITDANCEART I saw so many wonderful dance performances. My sister was one of the dancers and she did a great job. It made me think I should probably start dancing again. I regularly go to zumba classes and I tried MTV dancing so we will see how it goes. The other pics are from an exhibition in DOX. That place is my favorite and I had a great time there. I got a chance to go inside airship and I am not gonna do it again. I mean ever. I was feeling so dizzy inside and I was so happy I didn´t faint. I guess those things are just not for me. But besides that I really enjoyed the exhibitions there.

How is your Wednesday so far? Mine is pretty great. I just need to finish couple of articles for the April issue and then in the evening I am going to a press event of Italian traveling agencies. There is a chance to win a flying ticket to Italy so wish me luck! Having a chance to go to those wonderful events is pretty much the best part of my job. You can meet so many interesting people, try the newest product and get loads of free stuff (this is pretty much my favorite thing). In the last couple of weeks I visited very cool events. I saw the new Tous collection which is wonderful and as a gift I got a cute bracelet with the statement teddy bear. C&A brought me to a flower wonderland and made me realized how much I missed spring. I really liked the whole event because it was thought through. Not only you could see the spring/summer collection which is pretty cool but you could also create your own bouquet and try delicious food. Oh damn, I am hungry again. Anyway, my most favorite event must have been the one hosted by Sephora. It was super long but I loved every minute of it. We got a chance to try new skin product from Korea (I am currently testing them so I will let you know if they work) and after a little workshop they offered us Asian food. So delicious! Cannot wait to go to another Sephora event cause they just know how to do that.
Happy Monday, everybody! I am very proud of myself cause I finally decided to concentrate on my blog and I prepared couple of posts in advance so you can expect more articles. It is also caused by the fact that my laptop is finally working. I had to live without it for 4 months and it was pretty hard but after some time I got used to it. The weirdest thing was to watch TV shows on my phone whose screen is not that big. But now everything is fixed so here I am. I am gonna wrote a little bit about my work and all the wonderful events I visited, my trip to Dresden and galleries and art exhibitions in Prague. But for today I prepared a couple of pics that depicts the winter. I am not a huge fan of this season since I don't wear a pair of trousers so I am constantly freezing. On the other hand, Prague covered in snow is really beautiful. I am glad we had some snow but now it is time for spring to come. It is so hard to be a fashion blogger in winter... and without a photographer. I need to figure out how to take some nice photos without bothering my friends every day (I don't want to lose my friends) but I am sure I will manage.
I really wonder how people do that. I mean blog regularly. I am pretty good with posting stuff on my Instagram - so be sure you are following me - but this is just too hard for me. And let's be honest. I don't even work that many hours a week and I still cannot find time for writing articles. I can keep telling myself I will get better but I am not even sure if it is true. But will see... maybe one day. Anyway, today I am going to show you couple of pics from my trip to Madrid. I went there for Christmas holidays and I had a great time. The city itself is not that amazing (do not tell it to locals, for some reason they were not that happy about it). I mean it is pretty nice but it is just like any other city. However, the people are so kind and fun. And it was warm there! How I miss the sun. The snow is really getting on my nerves now cause it keeps ruining my make-up everytime I go out and I have to walk super slow on the icy streets of Prague. I almost broke my leg... like twenty times. But the spring is almost here, isn't it?
