Finally, here we are. The first semester is almost over which means that my work for the university magazine is done. I have to say I enjoy every minute of it and it has to be my favorite modul so far. I have learnt so much and it gave me a wonderful idea on how the whole process on making a magazine works, I always wanted to work for a magazine and this modul really inspired me and made me want it even more. I had a chance to take pics of wonderful fifty year old people which I will share with you soon and it was great to hold a camera again. My father was always a great inspiration for me because his photos blows my mind everytime I look at them. Photography together with fashion gives us a wonderful opportunity to express ourselves and after this semester I want to learn more about taking pics. Who knows? Maybe one day my photos will be in real fashion magazines.
This last article is dedicated to purple coulour. Purple was a colour of royalty and there is something very sriking about it. Bold shades screams power and energy while soft shades look very feminine and vulnerable. People who love purple are usually creative, idealistic and sometimes a little bit impratical. They often dream of a future in an ideal fantasy world when everyone is happy and everything is going the right way. Well that explains why I really love this colour. I always was and I always will be a dreamer. Life can be hard sometimes so it is good to escape once in a while to your own perfect little world. I really hope that after reading this you wont think I am an absolut psycho who needs to start taking medication. I just have a big imagination.
I dont think I have ever owned any piece of clothing in dark brown colour. I like beige a lot and everyone can say I am crazy about leopard print. No matter what people say leopard print can look very elegant and feminine so dont let anyone convince you that it is only good for people with cheap taste. Anyway, there is something slightly off putting about brown colour. I cant put my finger on it but it just doesnt feel right.
Brown is a friendly and upproachable colour and it makes a woman look trustworthy, honest and reliable. I hope that my aversion to brown colour does not have to do something with me being untrustworthy, dishonest and unreliable. No, I am not that bad.
Even though I will never own a wardrobe full of dresses and coat in brown colour I have totally different opinion about it when it comes to interior design. There is something very calming about it. Especially brown furniture always makes me feel very comfortable. I already have a perfect picture of my future flat in my head because who doesnt. It is the same with your wedding. Every girl just knows what dress to wear before she even finds the husband. My Manhattan flat (I am not aming high at all cause we all know I will work for Vogue) will be very modern and clean. I would love to have just white and black colour scheme because this combination just fascinates me. However, when I grow old, with Ryan Gosling by my side, I would love to move to a quiet house, far away from the city centre. And this new house would be akk in brown. Vintage wooden furniture and cream walls would just look amazing, dont you think? What is your dream house?
Blue reduces stress and creates calmness and relaxation so if you are looking for a perfect colour for painting your bedroom blue is a perfect option. It doesn't hurt your eyes and it is usually perceived as a non-threating colour which is a plus. I don't know how about you but I like to feel safe before going to sleep and definitely not to feel like the walls are going to eat me alive. Yeah, I can be a bit paranoid sometimes but the world is a scary place. All things around you just scream danger. Cars, wild animals, dolls, clowns.....Ok I should really stop watching American Horror Story.
I am absolutely sure that everyone owns at least one piece of blue clothing. The most common and popular has to be jeans. I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one pair in their wardrobe. Apart from me but I am an exception. For some reason I have never found out what is so special about them. Don't get me wrong I love denim so much. But I would rather wear a denim shirt or shorts than jeans. I am not a big fan of trousers in general because it is so hard to find a right fit. Dresses and shorts are just easier to wear. Am I the only one who currently doesn't own any pair of trousers?
I am not very happy to admit it but I kinda reached the age when I started thinking about getting married. I am sure that I am slightly infulenced by most of my married classmates having kids and also all those American TV shows that ends with a huge happy wedding. Well, who wouldnt like to marry Barney Stinson or Chuck Bass? Anyway I found myself looking at beautiful wedding dresses more and more often and I already decided that my dress has to be made by Elie Saab. The only problem I am facing now is finding a husband. Unfortunatelly, Aberdeen is not a city with a lot of handsome men so I have to wait until I move somewhere else. New York hopefully. The reason why I mentioned my dream wedding is because I am going to talk about white colour today. Wedding dresses are the first thing that comes to my mind while thinking about white.
White is such a pure and elegant colour that screams cleanliness, softness and innocence which is the main reason for using it on wedding robes. Though these times no bride is exactly innocent and pure. But you get my point. White also used to be a colour of rich people because poor people couldnt afford to clean their clothes on regular basis and as we all know white doesnt stay white for long. Especially for me who always spill drinks and have more ice cream on the clothes then in the mouth.
White shirt is one of the basic garments that should appear in every closet. It is versatile and it can be worn with absolutely everything. White outfits can be very sophisticated but too much white can come across as cold and unemotional. We all know the phrase Cold as ice so try to avoid looking unfriendly and distant.
Green is widely known as a colour of nature and money. That must be the reason why I really like it because I really like both nature and money...well one of them little bit more but let's not say which one.
Green is an emotionally positive colour which brings hope and happiness. It will also help you relax and alleviate depression and nervousness. I really feel like my study room should be painted green to stop me from freaking out before my exams. Or maybe lecturers should start marking all the exams and course works in a green environment (just to clarify, I don't mean they should be in a room when everything is recyclable). It will make them more generous and give them hope that even if the coursework is a total crap the student still has much more to show up. I know it is just a utopia but where else to express my great ideas for improvement of the school system than here on my blog.
''Green with envy'' is a commonly used phrase which does not give green colour the best reputation. Therefore, this colour wasn't particularly popular in the past and it was only in 1930's when PR tycoon Edward Bernays changed the public's view on green. He hosted a Green Ball where he tried to show the beauty and uniqueness of green to fashion editors, interior designers and owners of department stores. He hoped that green would become an appealing colour and American women would start appreciate it a bit more. And why did he do all that? To promote the latest product of his employer - the new green package of Lucky Strikes Cigarettes. So at the end, women started wearing more green and also got a lung cancer. Good for you, Edward.
First of all I need to ask you something. Is it just me or would anyone else like to own a minion? They are just so cute, funny and stupid! My favorite combination. :) But I guess this is not the topic of this article though there is nothing that represent yellow colour more than them.
If there is a difficult colour to wear it has to be yellow. At least for me. I love it cause it represents joy and happiness. However, there is no colour that will capture our attention than yellow. It basically screams ''Look at me!''. Why do you think that it is often used for cautionary signs? I also read an article about American school buses and the reason they are bright yellow. I never thought that it has to do something with safety rules and regulations in the US. Yes, federal law requires it to protect American children from accidents on roads. To apply this to the fashion world you should wear a yellow outfit if you are not scared to be in the centre of the attention. Because I can guarantee you that you will be seen. If you overuse yellow it can become very empowering and difficult to look at but it is definitely a fun colour to wear. Especially in the spring when all the bugs (absolutely all of them) somehow end up on your yellow top and you feel like in a Hitchcock movie. I am familiar with the fact that he made a horror about birds not bugs but for someone like me who is absolutely terrified of insect it is pretty much the same. So no more yellow for me during the warm days.
Last of all, yellow is a very optimistic colour so if you want to cheer yourself and people around you up put on some yellow blouse or dress (but be aware of the bugs...there are everywhere).
Is there any more girly colour than pink? If you are expecting a baby girl you can be 100% sure that you are going to receive loads of presents in this colour. And to be honest, how many of you would paint her room pink? My friend took it to the next level by buying her daughter clothes and toys with Hello Kitty (I once had a Hello Kitty phone but I swear I bought it just for fun :)). But enough about small kids. Let's take a look at how adults wear this colour. As you probably figure it out the first person who came to my mind while thinking about pink was Elle from Legally Blonde. She sometimes ended up looking like a huge candy which can easily happen if you overuse this colour. You can also naive and immature so be careful about that. But if you use it only on few items it will look great and very feminine.
Pink is a delicate colour which represents romance and love. Studies have also showed that people who were exposed to this colour felt calm and relaxed. Well it is probably a good colour for your baby's room anyway. So what signals do you send to other people when you put on a pink dress? You will definitely look friendly, approachable and in touch with your feminine side. The same thing applies for guys. And let me say one thing. I absolutely hate all the comments about guys being gays if they wear this colour. So boys, please wear pink more often because it looks really good on you.
As you can see I am a big fan of pink colour because I find it elegant and striking. What about you? What is your opinion on pink and more importantly on men wearing this colour. I know it has nothing to do with women's fashion but the general view just really pisses me off.
If there is one colour that doesn't dominate in my wardrobe it has to be orange. For some reason this colour hasn't found its way to my closet and I don't know why. I even had a hair colour like that and I am not exaggerating. I seriously looked horrendous. I guess I am not the only one avoiding this colour cause you can't see it very often in the street. Well I asked myself what was the first thing that I connected with orange and sadly it was prison. Some people might say oranges or carrots but I assume I am not a fruit and veg fan. Even though orange is often used for clothing for prisoners it is also a very fun and playful colour favoured by creative people. It also represents fascination, enthusiasm and success. At least usually because prison outfit does not really represent success but quite the opposite. It was also found that this colour attracts young people who are more likely to purchase a product in this colour than older generation. No wonder British mobile company came up with the name Orange to enssure their potential customers that they are approachable and fun. I am not sure if their tactic works for me but if I have one more problem with Vodafone I am going to consider it.
The message orange colour tend to send to other people is that the wearer is quite ambitious and not afraid to be heard. So if you are applying for a job in a creative industry and you want to sell your ideas as well as yourself orange blouse or blazer could be a great item to attract their attention with. On the negative side person in orange can sometimes come across as lazy and frivolous so do not wear this colour if you need to impress someone professional and serious.
Black is the new black. If you frequently watch fashion shows you are aware of the fact that designers can't leave black alone. To be honest how many of you own a little black dress? I have at least seven of them and I am not the biggest fan of black colour. So what is it about black that attracts so many people?
Most of us associate black with authority, elegance and sophistication. Black Mercedes, tuxedoes, judges´ robes...they all scream power and prestige. Therefore, it is a common choice for people attending formal events or working as business men/women. Additionally, black is usually called a safe colour because you cant really go wrong with it. Sadly, I found out it could quite easily become a boring colour. People feel unnoticed while wearing it and forget to make any fashion statement. I am not saying everyone is fashionista (I proudly admit I am) but your clothes should reflect your personality. And what does a black T-shirt, hoodie and jeans say about you? That you probably dont have a lot of imagination. Dont get me wrong. I absolutely adore black lace dresses or velvet tops. I am just saying that sometimes you might end up looking a bit dull if you stick up with black colour for so long. But I might be just a little bitter because black outfits remind me of my days at university of law back in the Czech Republic.
Before I wrote this article I asked several people about their opinion on black outfits. Surprisingly, most of them praised its ability to make you look thinner. Black can help you hide some of your imperfections and make your bum look smaller but you should remember it's not a miraculous colour. If you are normally a size 16 and you end up wearing black slimming crop top and super short skirt you are going to look like you borrowed the clothes from your little sister (that you just ate). So careful there!
As a part of our Fashion Communication course at Robert Gordon University we have to produce at least 10 blog posts about any chosen subject. After a short consideration I decided to write about the meaning of colours. I have two certificates of Typology of Colours so I can tell you all about I have learned from a very talented Czech stylist Petr Lukeš. So together with few already writen articles describing my life in Aberdeen this will be my course work.
I was always a big fan of red colour because it is associated with power, energy and love. However, this colour is very emotionally intense and seen as intimidating so it is not recommended while applying for a job. A lot of people still underestimate the importance of clothes and colours when it comes to interviews or presentations but they play much bigger role then you might think. Your skills and achievements are definitely important but a short dress in a bright red colour can easily destroy your chances of getting the job just because you might appear to sexy and unprofessional (if you are applying for a job in a strip club forget everything that has been said :)).
Men and women have a different view at this colour. Men usually find girls wearing red sexy, strong and desirable when women see them as a threat and as an attention seekers. It is therefore chosen by people with outgoing personalities and loads of self-confidence who are not afraid to be in the spotlight.
Red is not a very popular colour when it comes to interior design. It is perfectly fine to use it on smaller objects such as lamps, pictures and small tables. You have to be pretty careful if you decide to paint your walls red. I used to have red and white walls in my bedroom and I will never make the same mistake again. It is very hard to relax with such a disturbing colour around you.
I am spending another Christmas away from home. Luckily I found a new place in Aberdeen which will get me into a Christmas mood. On Tuesday I had a chance to try a new festive menu in Filling Station and I know for sure I am coming back for some food and drinks because they were amazing. Firstly, we were shown how to prepare Christmas cocktails by mixologist Andy Pearson. When he told us he was going to use chocolate liqueur I knew I just found my new favorite drink. I was also blown away by a cocktail which looked like a snowman. Seriously, who has a heart to destroy such a beautiful thing? Well I had because I was really thirsty and it was delicious. :)) So if you are anywhere near Aberdeen you should definitely give it a try.
It would not be a proper Christmas menu without food. To be completely honest I was not expecting 4 courses. If I knew I wouldn't eat for a week. We tried mushroom risoto and goat cheese bruschetta as a starter. The first main course was a hamburger with bacon which was marinated in maple syrup. I never understood this combination but now I know. It tastes absolutely amazing! Traditional turkey and mashed potatoes were served after and I struggled to finish the plate. Those portions are just too big. The cherry on the top was an Oreo cheesecake. Yes. You heard it right. Oreo cheesecake with cream and ice cream. What a perfect way to finish your evening. I am really happy that I had a chance to try this new menu and I can recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere of the place is great and the staff (especially Vojta) was very helpful.
I finally have a one week holiday so I can start concentrating on all my courseworks. And there are plenty of them. One of them is to create your own blog and post 10 articles. Lucky me. I already have a blog so I do not have to worry about creating another one. However, I still have to come up with 10 articles. I decided to write about colours and what effect they have on people. My idea is to take pics of 10 different outfits, starting with the red one. Hopefully it will stop raining and I will be able to post the first article on Tuesday. I am not really excited cause I still remember how much pain did I have to come through while taking my last pics. And now I have to do 10 different pohotoshoots. Well, it definitely will be interesting. In the meantime here are few pics from my last couple of weeks in Aberdeen. I have to say. I really love Halloween. It is the only time you can dress slutty and noone is judging you. :))
I finally tried my new tripod and took few pics of me. And I have to say it was super hard! If you have a photographer all you have to worry about is to look good. If you don't you are happy that you manage to take a pic where you have at least half of your body parts. I though it would be quite easy so I prepared everything at home and went to a small alley close to my flat. I was not put off when my self-timer wasn't working properly and I continued taking pics. When I checked the result all I saw was a blurry pic of me with and very clear pic of a tree behind me. Well good for the tree. I changed the settings and tried it again. This time the quality of the pic was so much better. If only my arm and half of my head weren't missing. I was trying to stay possitive but when a huge white van stopped behind me I lost it. How am I supposed to do it? I am not sure if I have nerves for it. :)
Ok. Let me explain what is happening at the moment. I already had so much stuff to do for my course at uni and it was a struggle to blog at the same time. But it wouldnt be me if I didnt have something extra. Month ago my knee started hurting really badly so I visited local GP for help. I was told I had flat feet and everything should be sorted out by wearing insoles in my shoes. I started being suspicious after three weeks when my pain got even worse and I didnt see any improvement. Therefore I visited a physio who surprised me with the fact that my feet are not flat and the treatment from my GP made everything worse. I was told what to do to make the pain go away but you know what? Its been a while since they told me that and everything is still getting worse. I am really fed up with this. I have no idea what to do and I am basically stuck at home cause I cant walk properly. I cant work and it stops me from blogging as well cause its difficult to walk somewhere with tripod and take pics of me. Really hope it will get better but I feel like I am slightly giving up. In the mean time, here are few pics of beautiful Aberdeen. I really like this place and I wish I could enjoy it more.
made with my sister. I am really interested in learning more about taking pics especially after our first fashion photography lecture. There were couple of photography students with us so I am planning to ask some of them for help with my blog. I also found one very talented guy who will be helping us with our magazine and he also agreed to take few pics of me. Hopefully I will be able to collaborate with more people and create interesting blog posts.
fashion society which will bring people with same passion together. I am looking forward to meet other fashion students. Our first event is tomorrow and we are starting with an American frat party with guys from rugby society. Wish us luck. :)
new dress from my favorite shop Chi Chi. I really want to buy every single dress they offer cause they are so feminine and cute.
Those are the last pics that were taken in the Czech Republic (besides those I took with my sister and I will share with you very soon). Since yesterday Aberdeen is my new home again. I moved to a new flat close to uni and I really love it. It is way better than the previous flat and I dont have to pay more money. I also have a new flatmate which is still quite weird because me and my old flatmate Kevin were really good friends. Unfortunatelly he had to move away and so did most of my friends so I feel like I am starting again. I am bit worried if this year is going to be great but I will try to make the best of it.
I know it is been a while since I made a last post called From a charity shop but I have so many things going on now. This time I want to share with you my new dress which I bought in my favorite charity shop in Aberdeen. As a student I do not have a lot of money left for clothes so I have to think about other options. Shopping in charity shops is a great way to save money and purchase interesting pieces. For example, this dress is originally from Jane Normane and it would have cost a lot. I paid only 8 pounds which a great price. I cant wait to go back to Aberdeen and discover more amazing items. I have high hopes in my time management so I believe I will be able to post regularly and share my outfits and experience from studying in Scotland.
Mornings are the best for taking pics here but unfortunatelly I am super lazy and noone can take me out of my bed. This time I used all my power and I woke up at 7AM to go to the beach. The sea was warm and for the first time I havent felt like my brains going to explode from all the heat from the sun. We took several pictures and I also took a kilogram of sand in my swimsuit. I am afraid it will take more than a month to get rid of all the sand that is in my clothes and hair.
Couple of weeks ago I got a new camera and I absolutely love it. I will be able to take my own pictures which saves me a lot of time and troubles with looking for a photographer. While trying my camera I found out that I enjoy taking pics and I would love to learn and practise to become a good photographer. Being on the other side of the camera is much more fun than I thought. During my stay in Rhodos I used my sister as a model and I took those photos. I am obsessed with old looking black and white pictures and I am quite happy how they turned out. How do you like my first photoshoot?
The sun is killing me! I know I was always complaining about the bad weather we have back in Aberdeen but this is unbearable. I feel like my body is going to melt. And if not my body my brain definitely is. I am really suprised people are able to function in this. All I can manage is to lay on the beachchair and go for a swim. Some people might find it relaxing but I am bored to death. I am used to doing stuff all the time so this is quite weird for me. I either do nothing or way too much. I just find out that my first shift in the restaurant after my holidays starts next Saturday which is exactly two days after my arrival back to Aberdeen. Seems like I will have no time to catch up with friends which is ironic since I have plenty of time now.
The weather in the Czech Republic was not that great so we decided to go somewhere else. Greek islands were always our favorites and this time we chose to visit Rhodos. Finding a good hotel was kinda strugle since most of te reviews were quite bad. In the end we chose hotel called Louis Colossos Beach and I was nervously waiting to see if other people were right and the rooms are a mess. Surprisingly our room was much better than I expected. The only issue I had was with my pillow which smelled funny. Probably the person who used it before me did not believe in personal hygiene or there was a little baby who could not find a potty. Nevertheless the problem was sorted out and now everything is ok. The food is absolutely delicious here which means one thing. I am going to come back looking like a pig. And since the sun is pretty strong here I might have the same colour as well.
I came to conlusion that I need to reorganized my closet and buy myself few new pieces. I dont have a lot of clothes back in my flat in Aberdeen and those items I own are mostly cool and edgy. I really like that style but as I am getting older I prefer wearing elegant and sophisticated clothes. Sadly I am not an owner of many timeless pieces which is a shame. But I am going to change it this year. This dress is another addition to my new classic wardrobe. It was bought in the online shop called Hybrid which specializes in clothes for modern lady who wants to look good at any occasion. I chose this dress because the shape of the neckline is quite unusual and those little details always catch my eye.
WalG which targets girls who love sophisticated silhouettes and classic comfort. WalG has also concessions in high street stores such as Topshop and it is still expanding. I am absolutely crazy about this brand since I prefer elegant and timeless pieces. This red dress looks gorgeous and you can wear it so easily with black heels and pair of stockings. Can't wait to order another piece.
As I mentioned in the previous post I spent my weekend at the Czech festival Mácháč. I was there with my friend and I had so much fun. Even though the weather was not superb the atmosphere totally made up for it. I don't remember the last I saw so many people in one place. After those two nights full of great music, food and alcohol I realized one thing. I am slightly getting older since I was unable to stay up all night as I used to when I turned 20. :) But despite the fact that we left the festival earlier than other young people we managed to have pretty good time. The only bad thing about the whole event has to be me laying in bed now. Yes, I am sick again. I guess the two cold slushies with vodka has something to do with it.
't forget to check out my Instagram. In the meantime I want to share with you the outfit I wore a day before the festival. I love vibrant accessories as well as mixing colours. This gorgeous clutch is from my favorite shop Yesfor which offers the most beautiful bags and purses. I already have three of them and I am definitely getting more in the future. Sending you kisses from Máchovo Jezero and can't wait to share my festival experience with you later! Fingers crossed it won't rain.
neckace on our white carpet. The contrast of colours looked pretty good so I decided to bring my camera and I took few pictures of it. I brought more pieces in this colour and I started arranging them. And then I got the idea. Why not to create a new topic about colours with few tips on how to wear them. So here we go. I always had a weird obsession with turquoise and mint colour but I mainly used those colours on accessories. Having said that few dresses and cardigans also found their way into my wardrobe. I love pairing turquoise with black and white to creata a clean look. However, those who know my style are aware of the fact that I love mixing colours. I really like the combo of hot pink and turquiose.
dungarees? Or crazy sunglasses? Well I guess it is just me living in a small village where everyone wears the same thing as they wore ten years ago.
Sunglasses are an absolute necessity for me in the summer. Therefore I own quite a collection and I keep looking for more. Timeless and classic pieces are an important part of my collection but I love buying sunglasses in crazy shapes and colours. I always wanted to have a pair with colourful lenses and when I saw those green beauties I knew I had to have them. They are from a really cool online shop called Kameleonz and I love the fact that you can create your own piece there. And who doesn't want to be original? The arms are also interchangeable so you can look different everytime you wear them. How cool is that?!
Jak už jsem zmínila v předchozím článku, budu součástí plzeňského festivalu Živá ulice. Začíná v pondělí a do čtvrtka budu každý den chodit po městě a fotit nejstylovější outfity. Každý večer pak vyberu ten nejlepší a nejoriginálnější a vítěz obdrží voucher do oblíbeného obchodu ZOOT. Třeba zde najdete i sebe. :)
Today was such a lovely relaxing day and I had a chance to finish some work I had left from previous week. Tomorrow I am going to Prague to visit my blogger friend Petra and we are planning to take some pics together so stay tuned. I am also going for a dinner with my uncle to a really fancy restaurant so I am quite excited. I am gonna have to start going to the gym after all that food I have eaten in previous days otherwise I will need two seat on the plane back to Aberdeen. :) Moreover, I have some exciting news about next week. I am going to write a special article about it during the weekend but I want to share the basics about it with you just now. Next week Pilsen will be hosting a festival called Živá ulice and I am going to present a fashion show as well as take pics of stylish people and choose the winner who would win a price. My favorite outfits will also appear on my blog so you can see some stylish people from my country.
Most of the time I am posting my everyday's outfits but once in a while I like to do something different. This time we decide to create photoshoot showing three looks in black and white (plus one in colour). All of them show a natural make-up. We are also planning to make some pics with very strong make-up so you can then decide which one you prefer. I also have few new things prepared for later. I just got a new camera so I was thinking to go to bigger cities and take pics of street style. I will start with Prague and then continue in Aberdeen. I just hope that people will allow me to take pics of them and won't run away from me. :)
Sunshine is rarely seen in Aberdeen so I was unprepared when I arrived back to Czech. My skin was so white that I was afraid I was gonna turn red a minute I walked outside. I have been back for about a week and I am still pale as a zombie. My skin is avoiding to look summery so I have to at least dress up like that. This floral dress and those hot pink shoes are helping me with the illusion of summer and maybe one day even my skin will look less deadly.
The last couple of days in the Czech Republic were awesome. My friends from Aberdeen came to Prague so I had a chance to catch up with them and have few drinks with them. I almost forgot that Prague is such an amazing city. I also went bownling and I met a friend for a dinner. It is so nice to see people I havent seen for almost a year. And tomorrow I am going to the wellness centre for some beauty treatments. I will be posting pics from my trip on my Instagram so you can take a look.
It has come to the worst but I have to stop blogging for about less than a month. I am coming back to the Czech Republic on 22nd July and since that day I will be blogging again. I dont have any photographer here and I dont want to post pics in a bad quality. I bought a lot of new clothes in Aberdeen so you will see plenty of new outfits when I come back. I will also have a new camera and tripod so this thing wont happen next year. In the meantime, I will be reading my favorite blogs for inspiration and I hope that my lovely readers forgive me the lack of posts and come back at the end of July. :)
Everything is working against my blog. Firstly, the internet in our flat stopped working and I dont know how to fix it. So now I am sitting in the local restaurant where I can catch the free wi-fi. Secondly, I do not have any photographer and I am afraid I would have to wait till I come back to Czech Republic which is at the end of July.
Everything is so crazy right now. I though I would have plenty of free time since I finished uni but I was wrong. I started working more hours and I spend most of my spare time with my friends. The last four days were super fun. We went to a 90s party, club, flat party and we also went bowling which was awesome. I havent played it for a year but somehow I managed to win it. Yay! Me and my boyfriend also went to Stonehaven to see the castle. The weather is usually quite bad in Aberdeen but last couple of days were fantastic. Therefore, the trip was really good and I finally saw other places than Aberdeen itself.
Since I moved to Scotland I started shopping in charity shops. You can find really wonderful pieces there for cheap prices. There is no need to spend hundreds of pounds to look fashionable.
